At EncompassLIFE, prior to an eye talk session we take pictures of our clients eyes as a before and after for their transformational experience. In an eye talk session, we do a video screen share and share the clients eye photos with them. When our clients are seeing their own eyes, coaching goes in a completely different way than it does in direct coaching. Even when “non-emotional” people see the photos of their eyes, they start to tear up. Or clients will also experience an immediate sense of awe at seeing their eyes that close, even though they have yet to have any idea of what’s going on.
Here at EncompassLIFE, one of the things we really stand on is the spiritual law that our greatest weakness really is our greatest strength. So when a marker is showing up in the eyes, we guide our clients towards their greatness and what they’re really here for.
In a lot of ways the tears that end up coming up, when we see our eyes are really an “Oh my gosh, I’ve been living this way for however many decades I’ve been living this way and this whole new life is available to me just by staying present and going through some of these things that I haven’t wanted to touch up”. A lot of the tears that come up for people so quickly are really just the outward expression of deeply feeling and seeing the rawness of the weight they’ve been carrying all these years.
It’s really an amazing experience, you get to see your truth front and center. The tears that come up for clients, is their old personality dying and the joy of the new way of being coming into existence at the same time. As a coach, healer, or leader you too can give this gift of eye talk to your clients, or self.
